Marquez - Under the Influence
Marquez The Greatest (known on Planet Comedy as King of the Underground) began as a seed planted in the fertile streets of Los Angeles. He began smoking stand-up comedy with one goal in mind—to make people laugh. But it has evolved into hilarious, philosophical blunts through which the pain of life generally and his life specifically is turned into the chronic high of laughter.
With the potential of Marquez's potency being recognized, he remains firmly planted in the L.A. sun under the Hollywood stars and continues to crystallize. The influences of Muhammad Ali and Richard Pryor are detectable but the Greatest's brand of humor is all his own.
